PChome Online Reports Third Quarter 2020 Results
Taipei, November 12, 2020 – PChome Online today announced its financial results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2020.
Third Quarter 2020 Business Highlights:

Group
- The consolidated revenue was NT$10,313 million, an increase of 9.1% year-over-year. The accumulated revenue from Q1-Q3 was 31,386 million, up 13.8% YoY.
- Gross profit was NT$1,173 million, an increase of 2% year-over-year. The accumulated gross profit from Q1-Q3 was NT$ 3,640 million, up 8.4% YoY.
- Operating income was NT$41 million, an decrease of 61.3% year-over-year, mainly due to higher expense on marketing campaigns. The accumulated operating income from Q1-Q3 was NT$ 248 million, up 9.7% YoY.
- Net income attributable to shareholders of the parent company was NT$68 million, an increase of 21.6% year-over-year. The accumulated net income attributable to shareholders of the parent company was NT$ 223 million, up 73.9% YoY.
- EPS was NT$0.58, an increase of 20.8% year-over-year. The accumulated EPS from Q1-Q3 was NT$ 1.91%, up 73.6% YoY.

B2C
- B2C sales revenue increased 10.6% year-over-year to NT$9,773 million.
- 3C products account for 71.95% of B2C total sales.
- Gross margin was 11.9%, 0.3 percentage points lower than 3Q19, due to higher 3C product mix.

Marketplace
- PChome Store turned profitable in the third quarter and is expected to continue in the following quarters.
- Ruten provides new advertising services for merchants, particularly with respect to customer behavior targeting and advertisement casting.

Payment
- The merger of Pi and PChome Pay completed in November, which enables Pi to provide more comprehensive services and enhance operation efficiencies.

Logistics
- PChome Express accounts for 20% of B2C last-mile delivery.
- PChome Express also continues to offer third-party logistics (3PLs) and B2B customized services.
