PChome Announced “Steering Committee”

PChome (8044-TW) today (Oct.25th) announced “Steering Committee”, establishing a new management structure in response to business development opportunity and market dynamic. Steering Committee consists of 5 people: Chairman – Hung-Tze Jan, Chief Operating Officer – Kevin Tsai, PChomeStore Inc. General Manager – Yun Su, PChome eBay Co. (Ruten Auction) Chief Operating Officer – Vicky Tseng, PChome InterPay Inc. General Manager – Eric Chung.
“Because of the dynamic of internet industry, challenges PChome Group is facing become more and more diversified.” Chairman Mr. Jan said. “By integrating resources and power across platforms and business units, PChome can make strategic decisions as a group and become the first internet company in Taiwan that has a hundred billion revenue and market cap.”
Meanwhile, to fully activate group decision structure, besides from Mr. Jan, the four members have also become PChome’s board of directors. Mr. Jan will act as the president of the committee, leading the team to work together. The four committee members work in their corresponding units within PChome group. Kevin Tsai will be responsible for the operation of PChome Online and PChome 24h Shopping. Yun Su will be responsible for PChomeStore B2B2C and the promotion of Personal Store. Vicky Tseng will be responsible for Ruten Auction – the biggest C2C marketplace in Taiwan. Eric Chung will be responsible for InterPay – the ePayment company with online payment license from the Financial Supervisory Commission.
