PChome Online (8044-TW) today (May 3rd) announced the cooperation with Citibank Taiwan to launch Citi PChome Prime cobrand card — a new benchmark for eCommerce membership service. With 6% reward points and the debut of “P Coin”, PChome is going to connect more and more external resources to develop the most comprehensive PChome membership ecosystem.
 
“Over the past 18 years, PChome has continued to pioneer the innovative development of e-commerce in Taiwan,enabling Taiwanese consumers, brand owners, and SMEs to enjoy thoughtful service and convenience driven by e-commerce. We have achieved the spirit of ‘everyday reliable’ service,” PChome chairman Hung-Tze Jan said. “Our next step that we have been preparing for a long time is the value-added membership service ‘everyday prime,’ which will set a new benchmark for membership services in the e-commerce sector. By taking advantage of more than 5 million products and 10 million members at PChome Online, we joined forces with Citibank Taiwan to launch ‘Citi PChome Prime cobrand card’ as the first step of our cooperation. Not only do PChome Prime cobrand card members enjoy more exclusive benefits, we will also combine the cross-analysis data of online and offline consumer behaviors from both sides to create more exclusive benefits and services for our members in the online and offline consumer scenarios around Taiwan.”
 
Big Data in Membership Service. Citi PChome Prime Card for 6 Million Users 
With the biggest membership pool in Taiwan, PChome analyzed shopping behavior data from tens of millions of members and found that current customers care about the quality of life and willing to embrace innovation and change. There are 6 million annual active users and around 25% of them make at least one purchase every quarter. They prefer to buy trendy 3C items, popular snacks and FMCG goods. There is also a group of heavy internet shoppers whose buying power is 4.5 times of normal members and, apparently, they have higher brand loyalty.
 
6% Reward Point. The Debut of “P Coin” to Connect Using Scenarios
Citi PChome Cobrand Card launched on May 3rd with 6% rewards point—the most favorable in the market. Using Citi PChome Prime cobrand card at PChome Online, including the 5 million SKUs on PChome 24h Shopping and PChome Shopping Mall, cardholders can enjoy up to 6% reward points. The 6% reward points consist of 2% cobrand points and 4% P Coin rewards, and can be offset for purchases at PChome Online, used to redeem a broad range of mileage programs, and offset for any purchase at different redemption channels. Now supporting point transfer from OPENPOINT and Asia Mile, PChome will expand its network to include more partners, for example,LINE Points. Starting as an eCommerce platform, PChome is going to build up the most comprehensive redemption
